Jessica Myszak, Ph.D.
Dr. Jessica Myszak is originally from the Midwest. She received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Georgia and her M.S. and Ph.D. in school psychology from Indiana University, where she specialized in social skills and autism spectrum disorder. She completed her internship and post-doc with the University of Tennessee/Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities, where she gained further experience with children with developmental disabilities (autism, ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disabilities) and emotional problems.
Dr. Myszak has worked with BSC since 2011, where she sees both children and adults for psychological evaluations and therapy. She performs evaluations for diagnosis and treatment planning for children as young as 12 months, which is typically covered by health insurance. She is also available to conduct evaluations for forensic purposes. She takes an integrated approach to therapy, and uses both cognitive and behavioral techniques in a solution-focused manner. Dr. Myszak has also been trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), which is an innovative evidence-based therapy for children ages 2-7 with behavior problems.
